Apollo
Constructed from five layers of 3mm laminated black walnut. The structure includes a hollowed shaft within the main beam to house an inlaid cable. Hung from the lamp is a hand wrapped wax-cord shade, offering a muted, even light. Inspired by the early works of Ray and Charles Eames, following the proportions of the Fibonacci spiral to guide its form. Awarded Best in Show at the 2023 T.E.A.M. conference.
